Outreach & Events
The Graham Sustainability Institute’s outreach activities target a wide range of important stakeholders, both on campus and in the community.
On campus, the Graham Institute has taken a leading role in cross-campus initiatives, such as the new U-M Sustainability Website, the Student Sustainability Initiative, the “Ethics in Sustainability” Faculty Roundtable, and the U-M Environment Report.
On a broader scale, the Institute also plans and hosts annual conferences that engage key researchers and faculty members (at U-M and other leading universities); local, state, and federal government officials; primary and secondary school teachers and administrators; thought-leaders from environment-focused non-profit organizations; as well as conscientious members of the general public.
The more individuals and organizations that are educated, informed, and empowered about environmental sustainability, the more positive progress will be made. If you have ideas about how the Graham Institute can further reach out about this critical issue, then please e-mail us at graham-institute@umich.edu.
