"Water, Health, & the Environment: Establishing the Research Agenda"

That was the topic of the Graham Institute's inaugural conference on March 26-27, 2008. The event focused on identifying research needs and opportunities concerning water, human health, and the environment. More than 150 people attended the event, including representatives from NSF International, the U.S. EPA, the Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory, the United Nations University, and others. The conference helped to expand the University of Michigan's position as a global leader in research about the relationship between health and water. It also generated multiple related White Papers and Research Abstracts on this important subject matter.
