Call for Project Proposals
If your U-M unit needs some extra brainpower or elbow grease to get a Campus Sustainability project or idea off the ground, then this opportunity is for you.

Please submit a project idea that is either ACTION-BASED (i.e. improving a building's efficiency, etc.) or RESEARCH-BASED (i.e. analyzing alternatives, identifying best practices, etc.). The best proposals will be those that spur follow-up activity within the unit. ALL project teams will draft a written report to be presented to the project sponsor.

Project teams will receive guidance from the course director and other knowledgeable advisors while conducting project work. The "Client Organization Liaison/s" will be expected to spend sufficient time with student teams during the project period to adequately frame the scope and expectations. The project component will be the most significant course deliverable, accounting for approximately 50% of the grade for a 14-week, 3-credit course. While projects will involve exceptional, committed, diverse, upper-level undergraduate students, unit sponsors should establish project expections that are consistent with the time that students have available to dedicate within the framework of the course.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: DECEMBER 12, 2008
