Submit a Wicked Problem
When it comes to environmental sustainability, there are many “wicked problems” that need to be addressed, and Integrated Assessment (IA) is an effective methodology for doing so. Over the next few years, the Graham Institute will be initiating and leading multiple IA projects on a range of geographic scales (local to global), and we have already allocated $2.5 million to support these efforts.
We recognize that good ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, anytime. With that in mind, we would like to learn about any “wicked problems” related to environmental sustainability that you think we should be investigating through Integrated Assessment.
Characteristics of Wicked Problems:
-
Stakeholders disagree on the definition of the problem

- An extended community will be required to resolve the issue
We will review all of the "wicked problem" ideas received and will select the most relevant, intriguing, and impactful topics to be studied through Integrated Assessment.
