I transferred to the University of Michigan in January 2020 and developed a wide range of interests including sustainable consumption, food systems, and agriculture; upcycled foods; waste; and UX and design. After my first semester in Ann Arbor, I was grateful to accept an internship with a small farm where I executed organic farming practices for, but not limited to, the greenhouse, high tunnel, field, harvesting, land preparation, and food compliance.
