Nick is a science writer and program officer with the National Estuarine Research Reserve System's (NERRS) Science Collaborative program. Prior to joining the Science Collaborative team, he worked on emissions reduction feasibility studies, program coordination, science writing, web content management, and bench-marking research for a number of UMEI initiatives. He has also participated in energy policy and community collaboration with the Ann Arbor Climate Partnership and the Community Solar Subcommittee. Nick received his B.S. in Biomedical Science from Grand Valley State University (2013) and his M.S. in Biology from Eastern Michigan University (2017). During his graduate degree, he performed research on project-based approaches to learning in biology.
